Vinod Nambiar is the Chairman and Managing Director of Vintron Group of Companies, a conglomerate that deals with automotive products, safety tools, building materials, workshop equipment and hotel amenities in the Middle East. He has also established four other companies, i.e: Vienna Engineering Company, Linu Tech Contracting, Venus Auto (for four-wheelers and forklift) and Vintron Technical Services with varied activities. His passion for innovation and entrepreneurial ideas led him into several businesses that led to carve out a niche & lucrative business group. Vintron Group of Companies is a professionally managed company that brings superior products for a competitive price.
Born to Late Viswanathan Nambiar, a merchant navy officer, and Sarojini Nambiar, a home maker, in Vadakkanthara, Palakkad, Kerala, Vinod Nambiar was very enthusiastic in his studies. After schooling, Mr. Nambiar completed his graduation from the prestigious Victoria College and He kept his position as chess champion for 3 years at college level and once at district level. Then he took a degree in Plastic Engineering from Indian Plastic Institute, Mumbai in 1998. Consequently, he started working with the Hinduja group. He has also worked with Dr. Rashmi Mayur, a noted environmentalist. Then he started a company M/s. Vin-Vin-Traders in his hometown Palakkad. After working in Mumbai, he moved to Dubai, UAE in 2003 and joined in the Chemistry Department of the well reputed Al Futtaim Bodycote Testing LLC, formerly Al Futtaim Carillion.
Entrepreneurship was always in his mind and Mr. Nambiar quit his job and started Vintron General Trading LLC. with only five staff members that has now grown up to comprise 60+ staff. Vintron is supplying autocare aerosol products and workshop consumables to Al Futtaim and several other leading companies in UAE. Mr. Nambiar is an extraordinarily dynamic, self-made businessmen who has made a mark in the UAE business world by launching as many as five different companies.
Vintron is a group of five companies, which are Vintron General Trading LLC, Vienna Engineering, Linu Tech Cont, Venus Auto and Vintron Technical Services. Vintron aims to improve Products/Services and launch new unique specialty products on a continuous basis. Vienna Engineering offers services in fabrication, machining, manufacturing, erection and installation works. It also has expertise in making customized workshop equipment.
Linu Tech Cont and Vintron Technical Services are well-established contracting companies having expertise in handling all types of electrical and plumbing works, gypsum partition, false ceiling works, tile work and epoxy painting works. Linu Tech Contracting employees are a team of well-trained, experienced, and motivated professional Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians who work in close co-ordination to offer the clients high quality and timely execution of all projects with a comprehensive after sales service for all installed systems. Vintron Technical services is the branch of Linu Tech and undertakes all technical contracting works at Dubai.
Venus Auto is one of the most respected and trusted car/forklift service centers in Sharjah. It has spray cleaning products such as degreaser that dissolves grease, grime, and penetrating solvent; electronic cleaner that leaves no residues; electric motor cleaner and brake parts cleaner.
The company also supplies spray coating products such as Pure Zinc coating that provides Longterm protection against rust and corrosion; repair for cracked, galvanized, rusted and welded surface; metal protector for resistance against rocks, gravel and chemicals; enamel paints. It also deals in safety equipment such as fluorescent jackets, fluorescent baton, safety uniforms, safety shoes, safety glasses, rotating beacon lights, helmets another safety related products. Other businesses include electrical accessories such as switches and sockets enhanced by other electrical wiring accessories (Domestic/Commercial and Industrial), circuit breakers, conduits, trunking and fittings, commercial and industrial lighting products etc. that are supplied to building and construction, mining and general industrial sectors.
Vintron General Trading LLC also deals in a range of plumbing materials and fittings, bathroom fixtures and fittings, tiles and plumbing materials, through providing excellent customer service and value addition at every stage. Vintron also provides organic and natural alternative to conventional offerings and lifestyle products. Vintron supplies all types of hotel amenities, including janitorial, crockery/cutlery, kitchen items to several leading hotels in the UAE. Our Ecocare brands are used in most popular hotels in UAE. Mr. Nambiar is a member of Indian Association of Sharjah and India Club– Dubai and Indian Businesspeople Forum. He is also the President of Sadudhyama (a group of Businessmen from the UAE and registered under Sharjah Media City as a Company).
Mr. Nambiar is married to Smitha Vinod, an MBA holder and an entrepreneur. The couple is blessed with two children, Varsha Vinod and Vani Vinod.
